Moritz Ludwig

Moritz Ludwig is a German Master of Public Policy candidate at Georgetown University’s McCourt School focusing on security, climate, and trade issues. He has a background in International Relations which he studied in Germany and France. Before moving to Washington D.C., he interned at the Aspen Institute Germany, the German Mission to the United Nations, and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. His interests in international political processes and economics are complemented by legal knowledge in public international law and advanced proficiencies in multiple foreign languages. At Georgetown, he supported the Institute of Politics and Public Service with discussion sessions on the intersection of national security and communications. He is also engaged in the European Policy Organization and active as a podcast host of the Georgetown Public Policy Review.  This summer, Moritz will intern at the Atlantic Council’s Europe Center before spending one semester abroad at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore. He looks forward to discussing how to promote youth engagement regarding security issues at the NATO Youth Summit 2024 and hopes to contribute to a strong and resilient transatlantic partnership.
