26 years old. Born and raised in the heart of Ukraine’s Kherson region. Alumni of Ukrainian Leadership Academy, Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.In 2014, as the war broke down in Ukraine, I found myself drawn to military volunteering. At 18 years old I started making trips to the frontline, delivering essential supplies to our soldiers. For the past five years, I’ve immersed myself in the world of adaptive sports programs. From the Invictus Games to the Warrior Games and beyond, I’ve dedicated myself to empowering and improving the lives of our wounded warriors. There’s something truly special about seeing these incredible individuals strive to overcome challenges and achieve their dreams. When the full-scale invasion began, I knew I had to step up in a different way. I enlisted in the 112th brigade of the Territorial Defence Forces, serving as a radio operator in the mortar squad. And now, my latest venture has brought me to the forefront of adaptive sports once again. As the Team Manager of Team Ukraine, I’m working alongside the Ministry of Veteran Affairs and four incredible non-profits to develop adaptive sports programs across the country. Our recent efforts to select competitors for the Invictus Games resulted in a record number of registered candidates, with nearly 500 passionate individuals stepping up to represent our nation.
