Cecilia Berg

As the chairman of Volunteer Air Corps Stockholm division, a part of the nationwide
organization Volunteer Air Corps, I am privileged to be a part of the team dedicated to
providing young individuals with educational opportunities and experiences that contribute to
Sweden’s total defense framework. Together with the remarkable members of our section, we
collaborate to organize flight exercises and aviation-related activities aimed at fostering a
deeper understanding of defense principles among our youth.
In addition to our commitment to defense education, I have had the honor of serving as a
camp leader at various flight camps, where I have worked alongside dedicated volunteers and
pilots to provide immersive aviation experiences for participants.
Throughout the year, our organization conducts flight exercises and training programs
designed to cultivate aviation proficiency and instill a sense of responsibility towards
Sweden’s defense and crisis preparedness. Our efforts are focused on empowering young
people to develop essential skills and knowledge that contribute to the strength and resilience.
Moreover, as part of the Volunteer Air Corps, we contribute our expertise in the air to support
government agencies in fulfilling their mandates. Our section is committed to providing
youth with opportunities that promote Sweden’s total defense, empowering the next
generation with the skills and knowledge necessary to safeguard our nation’s security.
Frivilliga flygkåren, in my opinion, recognizes the importance of collaboration and mutual
growth. Together, we strive to create an environment where members can learn, develop, and
thrive both as individuals and as part of a cohesive organization.
